The main page of the site is very user friendly; everything is broken down into categories, including business cards, marketing materials, announcements, and promotional products. Each category further lists the available products and features – such as free logo design.
Upon selecting a product – for instance premium business cards – you are given the option to browse designs, build your own, or upload your own finished design. VistaPrint has many designs that you can choose from, and allows you to search by industry or theme in order to find a design that suits you.
There are a wide variety of easy to use customization tools available, the custom logo designer being my favorite. To use this feature, you have to select ‘build your own design’, and then ‘use VistaPrint’s FREE logo designer.’ You will be first asked to enter text or a company name. After this step you will select a logo by browsing designs by industry or style. You can view the logo on products along the way, to get a feel of what the end result will look like. After selecting your logo, you will customize the text by picking a text style, effect and color. Your logo is then complete and ready to use on any product on the website. Once you have selected and completed your product, you are put through a very simple order process to end your shopping experience.
