New form of GPS - Virtual Cable Technology

A whole new class of GPS navigation devices has now been established. With Virtual Cable technology, a laser and a set of lenses work together to produce a 3D route on your windshield, appearing as though it is actually suspended over the road (like a streetcar cable).

One of the biggest advantages of this technology versus the current GPS systems on the market is that you do not have to estimate distances (such as 500 feet to the next turn). You also don’t have to turn down your music to hear directions because all you have to do is follow the path that is projected on your windshield. Driving in the night will be a lot simpler because you won’t have to search for signs or intersections in the dark.

This new technology has not hit the market yet, but you can expect to see it in the near future.
